Our apron was already attached before we dug. I’m not sure if that is the easiest…digging is never fun LOL…but it was do-able.

Hi, I am critter proofing our small coop and I am using the apron idea, but I wanted to know if it was easier to attach the apron to the frame on the bottom before digging down 6 inches to 1 foot or dig down first and then attach the apron? What has your experience been with this?

In reply to Kiki Kartos. This is not intended to be used as a mosquito repellant. It is a spray to use on plants in the garden. Hope this helps

Hi from windy Scotland, Thank you so much for this tip. I have just made my first batch and will use it tomorrow on my rhubarb plants. I very much appreciate your posting this tip. We buy kilos of bananas a week so it’s good to know they can help the garden too. Will let you know how successful the banana fertiliser is.

It really helped when you elaborated on septic system issues and how to identify them on time. I visited my aunt’s house last weekend and noticed a bad and strong smell coming from her outside, so I’ll make sure she reads your post. Thanks for the advice on pumping a septic tank every few years.

What do you do if you used too much peppermint oil on your plants? Accidentally spilled undiluted drops on them
